Qualifications for Membership  

Membership of Salisbury Union Lodge is primarily open to gentlemen students, alumni, and members of staff of the University of Hertfordshire, although consideration will be given to ALL applications for Initiation and Joining.  

The qualifying age for Freemasonry is generally 21 years, however, like many Lodges within the Universities’ SchemeSalisbury Union Lodge is entitled to obtain dispensation from this rule so to initiate students of the University of Hertfordshire who are aged 18 and upwards.

Salisbury Union Lodge welcomes visitations from Brethren who have been regularly initiated under the authority of the United Grand Lodge of England or any other Grand Lodge recognised by the United Grand Lodge of England. We respectfully request that you provide brief details of your Masonic association when making your enquiry to the Lodge Secretary, details available on the Contact Us page.
