Back at Edmonton Latymer for another Raising
On Friday the 4th of November Edmonton Latymer Lodge once more hosted us to Raise another of our members, this time Bro. Wayne. Again it was a high quality and enjoyable meeting allowing Wayne to navigate his next step in Freemasonry.
Election of New Master
Yesterday our Master Elect for the coming year was declared at an emergency meeting held at The Cloisters, Letchworth. Bro. George, who was Initiated in to the Lodge while studying at Hertfordshire University thanked the Brethren attending for the honour and privilege and the trust placed in him.
Come next year, our updated by-laws will be in place and this September meeting will be part of the regular calendar.
3rd Degree at Edmonton Latymer
This evening Edmonton Latymer Lodge no 5026 hosted members of the Lodge to Raise Bro. Mihaly to a Master Mason at Cheshunt, in a ceremony that involved both those of youth and those with wisdom. During the ceremony we were treated to a superb rendition of the little seen Charge to a Master Mason.
2nd Degree at Kingswood
This evening Kingswood Lodge no 2278 stepped up to the plate and Passed Bro Mihaly to the degree of a Fellow Craft on our behalf. The ceremony was held at Ashwell House, St Albans, with a hoard of 767 members present.
2nd Degree at Arkley & Finchey
This afternoon Arkley & Finchley Lodge no 7720 took the reins on behalf of Salisbury Union and Passed Bro Wayne to the Second Degree in an excellent ceremony at Cheshunt.
Double Raising at OVs
On Saturday the 23rd of April, The Old Verulamians Lodge, 7988, hosted us at Ashwell House, St. Albans, and helped to raise Brothers Izu and Rob in a ceremony that was enjoyed by all attending. The work was split between members of OVs and Salisbury Union, with their Master, W. Bro. Paul Moss leading from the Chair.

In a high quality ceremony, two new alumni of The University of Hertfordshire were Initiated in to Freemasonry in a ceremony held at Mayflower Place, Hertingfordbury. This was followed by a lively Festive Board where amongst our guests were a number of Brethren from sister University Scheme Lodges.
Fraternal and Paternal Installation
This morning Jack Crosby was Installed as our new Worshipful Master in a ceremony which included the Obligation of Master being given by his father, David Crosby.
