On Saturday the 23rd of April, The Old Verulamians Lodge, 7988, hosted us at Ashwell House, St. Albans, and helped to raise Brothers Izu and Rob in a ceremony that was enjoyed by all attending. The work was split between members of OVs and Salisbury Union, with their Master, W. Bro. Paul Moss leading from the Chair.

In a high quality ceremony, two new alumni of The University of Hertfordshire were Initiated in to Freemasonry in a ceremony held at Mayflower Place, Hertingfordbury. This was followed by a lively Festive Board where amongst our guests were a number of Brethren from sister University Scheme Lodges.
Fraternal and Paternal Installation
This morning Jack Crosby was Installed as our new Worshipful Master in a ceremony which included the Obligation of Master being given by his father, David Crosby.

For our October meeting we teamed up with the Fleet House Light Blues Club (FHLBC). During the day they had been hosting the 2021 New And Young Masons Club Conference at the Ashwell House Masonic Centre in St Albans, the same place we were due to host our meeting.

On Saturday the Fleet House Light Blues Club will be hosting the NYMC conference at Ashwell house, St Albans. This would be the day of our Installation meeting, however we will instead be Initiating 4 candidates, bringing them in to Freemasonry, with many of the conference delegates present.
Should be a great meeting.
University Cup Challenge
The University Scheme set a challenge. To walk a copy of the ‘DKW Cup’ through out the country, while at the same time raising money for the Grand Charity to split amongst the charitable interests of the Late Prince Phillip.
